Vintage Art Deco Metallic Handles

A set of two Art Deco brass and chrome-plated brass handles in excellent vintage condition. These handles have an elegant, elongated form and can be used horizontally and vertically for a variety of purposes. Use them on a console shelf with a glass top or fix them to dressers, or bedroom doors. Art Deco drew inspiration from many sources including Ancient Egypt. In 1922, the accidental discovery of the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun in Egypt impacted and altered Western aesthetic. Golden artefacts were buried in the sarcophagus. These objects were of particular interest and inspired designers to incorporate metallic and golden embellishments in their creations. Applying these metallic handles to fitted furniture authentically introduces an Art Deco style aspect into your interior space.
